Wisl is pretty much like your cool neighbor trying to help you take out the trash all
the time. With the tools granted by us, this neighbor will be able to warn you if your
car is badly parked, allowing him to take out more than just the trash, but also your
parking tickets.
The Wisl app allows its users to warn each other if they are badly parked. It is a
simple yet efficient tool to have in busy cities, where parking is scarce. Why take the
risk of getting a ticket when nearby users have experience with parking in their areas!
Here at Wisl, we help people work together so that they can help each other by warning about cars being at risk of getting a parking ticket. In order to use this beast of an app, simply download it and get started. When you see a car with a Wisl sticker that's badly parked, jump on the app and click on the alert button, where you'll be prompted to enter the plate number of the car as well as other informations. This way, the car owner will receive a notification to move his car. With your help, we'll transform cities into playgrounds, where every street corner becomes an opportunity!
In order to make money with Wisl, you can be a spotter. By flagging badly parked cars or finding public or private parkings, you can get paid or tipped. Keep in mind that a tip is never certain, but you might also need to warn another fellow citizen because his car is blocking your entrance (in that case, the reward is your entrance) or because you wish to help.
We put a timer in place in between each spot for a same badly parked car. This is in order for spotters not to cannibalize themselves. A spot comes with a 30 minutes delay before it can be spotted again. This way, the first spotter who flagged the car can earn his rating and/or tip without having other spotters alarming the car's owner at the same time and competing for the reward. First come first serve.
The sticker is there so that your car can get flagged if it is found to be badly parked. You have to put the sticker where other users can see it best, and that would be next to your license plate, because they'll have to find your car with the help of your plate number when using the app.
In order to get stickers, you can go to the sliding menu of the app and select the "Get stickers" option. From there, you can order the amount of stickers you'd like and put your address. We'll ship it to you in no time! If you already have one, you can order more for your friends or collect them ;).
